Looking back over 2017 and the first few months of 2018, we continue to support our clients in what is still a difficult and challenging climate. We have increased our staff numbers, we have won business with new clients and we have been rewarded with what we feel is the best form of feedback on our performance - repeat business from our clients. In 2017, we established a presence in the UAE and set up an office in Perth, Australia giving us access to the market in South East Asia. We successfully won contracts in Australia which is testament to the Management team and business model for the region. We have now worked for more than 35 clients, in over 15 countries around the globe. New areas of business for Zenith over the last 12 months have seen us complete projects in Holland, Egypt, Australia, Equatorial Guinea and Malaysia.
What makes a strong Well Management Company?
To me, it’s simple. The people. As a management team, we have some of the most experienced individuals when it comes to well project management. We have delivered projects across the globe, run multi rig, multi-client campaigns, setup and operated remote location long term projects and have worked for small, medium and large sized Operators. This experience lies in house at Zenith. In a market where focus sometimes seems to have been on cost reduction, we believe that focus on efficiency and performance are the key to delivering lower cost wells. The key to this is the personnel assigned to deliver those projects.

Looking ahead to 2018…
With a positive pipeline of work for 2018, the team here are ready for the remainder of the year. We increased our staff count within the Aberdeen office at the end of 2017, with an additional staff Drilling Engineer. This adds to the Zenith experience and is something we continue to work on by putting staff through external training courses, in-house training and continual on the job development. With seven confirmed wells for 2018, including projects based in Egypt, The Netherlands, Australia and the UK, this will give our team a wide variety of projects and opportunities for new learning experiences. We are looking forward to engaging with new clients and delivering first class results again to new and existing clients in the year ahead.
Befriend a Child Giving Tree
Zenith was delighted to help local charity, Befriend a Child, in December 2017. Staff, contractors, family and friends supported the charity's Giving Tree appeal, donating gifts for children in our local area who are less fortunate than others, which were then handed out to the children at their Christmas party. We have supported Befriend a Child over the last couple of years and look forward to supporting them further in 2018. Fundraising suggestions welcome…!
