SDX Energy 4 well project in Egypt; We are nearing completion on a four onshore wells contract for our client SDX Energy, based in Cairo.  The project consists of two appraisal and two exploration wells, with our project team currently drilling the final well utilising the Sino Tharwa rig 2.   Our project team is based full time in the Cairo office, with support from management and staff in the Aberdeen head office. This work follows on from the successful delivery of the SD-1X exploration well by Zenith for SDX in 2017, demonstrating further repeat business for the Zenith team.

GSP SRL contract win; Zenith Energy has recently secured a contract to provide well engineering and project management services to GSP for the Epsilon development project offshore Greece. With final planning and rig preparation well underway, the project will kick-off in the next few months. Zenith will provide GSP with well engineering and offshore supervision expertise for the drilling and completion of three development wells, including subsea template installation, platform install, tie back operations and multi-lateral reservoir penetrations. We look forward to working with GSP to deliver this project.

Zenith bolster management and wells team;  With successful contract wins, Zenith was pleased to welcome some new additions to the company over the last quarter.  Bolstering our management team, we appointed a well engineering manager and strengthened the well engineering team with the addition of senior drilling engineers, drilling engineers, HSE advisors and drilling supervisors.

Simon Lucas joins as well engineering manager, bringing over 25 years experience in the industry and will be responsible for overseeing project teams during both planning and operations, to ensure projects are carried out in line with Zenith’s well delivery process.  He will also provide management oversight as required and will be based at the firm’s headquarters in Aberdeen.   Simon has worked with both Martin Booth and Chris Collie previously, successfully managing multi rig, multi client rig programmes in the UK and internationally.

Ali McKinnon, comes on board as drilling engineer, bringing more than eight years engineering and NDSV experience. Ali has worked in the UK and internationally in both planning, office based roles and wellsite supervisory positions.

Euan Cadger joins Zenith as drilling engineer, with seven years experience of working as WSDE, NDSV and drilling engineer across projects in the UK and internationally.

Zenith Energy Australia; Since joining Zenith in 2017, Tom Terris, CEO Australia, has secured well engineering contracts with two large operators on projects based in Myanmar and Thailand.  He recently employed his first staff member, Tracey Sullivan, who is based alongside Tom in Perth, Australia.  Tracey will oversee the office operations, and provide support to Tom as the office manager. Tom brings more than 13 years of management experience to the role and manages all aspects of the Australian business unit. Tom said: “The Asia Pacific region is showing great signs of recovery and Zenith is very well positioned to take advantage of the upswing in activity. I look forward to playing a part of the continued success of the company in the future.”

FPAL Verify Audit   We successfully passed our ISO 9001;2015 re-certification in May, with zero non-conformances. This is a testament to our HSEQ system and processes, along with our teams who have been using our system on project managed well operations in the last 12 months.

Additionally, we passed our FPAL Verify Audit in April 2018. Our high scores again highlight the commitment we have to delivering projects safely, on time and within budget. A copy of all Zenith scores can be viewed on the Achilles FPAL website to all registered users –
