Zenith Fundraising Efforts for local charity Friends of Anchor

A team of eight staff from well engineering and project management firm, Zenith Energy, has taken part in a range of events this year to raise money for local Aberdeen charity, Friends of Anchor.

The work colleagues were named charity champions after raising the most money of all the businesses taking part in the Corporate Anchor Wipeout.

The team of Zenith champions raised just over £3,500 for the charity, which supports cancer and haematology patients across Aberdeenshire, Orkney and Shetland.

In addition to the final wipeout event, the team hosted a coffee morning at their Aberdeen office in the city’s Bon Accord Square, which was supported by more than 150 clients and contacts and raised £1500 of the total.

Office Administrator, Charlotte Thomson, also took part in the Great Aberdeen Half Marathon, whilst her colleagues, Harriet Fox-Bekerman and Alastair MacKinnon tackled the Great Aberdeen 10k run.

It is the second year in a row that Zenith has raised the most for Friends of Anchor in the corporate challenge and they are looking forward to retaining their crown in 2020.
