The ideal Performance Coach will have a track record of delivering safe, repeatable performance improvement working with Operators; drilling rig contractors and well work service contractors. They will have demonstrable team working and communications skills, a willingness to share their knowledge and an desire to deliver performance improvement whilst maintaining a positive working environment.

The Offshore Performance Coaches job scope will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Develop and facilitate advanced planning meetings, before each major well work task;
  • Follow up each major well work task with an after-action review;
  • Work with the Well Site Drilling Supervisor, to ensure lessons learned are captured and recorded;
  • Develop, with Company’s team, a method of adequately measuring performance. This will include developing the KPIs that the team will track (including safety, environmental, costs, time and innovations to performance etc.);
  • Develop and issue a weekly report, that will be used to demonstrate to the Company’s Leadership team, Shareholders and Partners, that the team are delivering a top quartile project;
  • Develop, track and implement performance improvement initiatives for SIMOPS and offline activities;
  • Participate in the management of the Lead Contractors and Rig Contactor’s performance scheme;
  • Take part and facilitate offshore risk assessments and any Management of Change activities, to ensure full participation by all impacted parties;
  • Present performance management at the rig weekly safety meeting;
  • Take part in the scheduled HSE conference calls
